Installation requires complete removal the entire latch assembly.

Instructions and Help

Included with each kit is a printed copy of our illustrated installation instructions. The instructions are also available here on this site in the Resources Section. They'll guide you step by step and in detail in removing the broken latch handle, the latch bar and the latch handle bracket, assembling the new handle to the bracket and reinstalling it all to your bike. Provided in each kit are all hardware and fasteners required. All you'll need to provide is: thread locker, lubricant, a power drill or moto-tool, appropriately sized Allen wrenches and possibly other common hand tools. A complete repair should take about an hour, depending on skill level and experience.

If for any reason you're not comfortable installing a kit yourself, contact us directly. For a minimal fee, you can ship your trunk to us. We'll repair your latch handle and ship your turnk back to you ready to be re-mounted to your LT. You may also want to discuss this repair with your dealer, service center or riding group. They may be willing to install this kit for you.
